hump day

Here we are, Wednesday and it is the first day of final exams. Mostof my kids are exempt form the test, which is fine by me! Less grading to do! I am sad to see my 10th graders move on, but they have worked hard this year for me. I will miss them all. I am ready for summer and ready to start looking in to the subjects I am teaching for next year. I have never taught Economics and need to take time with it this summer and go through Sociology and make it mine. US History I just need to tweek alittle bit. I would prefer to have World History, not even AP World again, but World History, but that is a no go so far. Why is it when they ask what you prefer to teach and you tell them, they never listen. They give you something totally different? I have never understood that. Oh well guess I never will either, I just wish they would not ask if they are not going to use my input in their decision making.
