writing

You know I have always wanted to write a fiction novel. I have wanted to do it since I was little. I use to make books when I was a kid. I would write the book, draw the pictures and everything. I have not done that in a long time, but it use to make me feel so good. I would give them to my mom and she would read them and of course being my mom she thought they were wonderful. I want to write again, but I look at what I wrote when I am finished and I always feel like my writing is so childish and not on an adult level. One of these days maybe I figure out how to write and feel good about it, but then I hate to let other people read it until I am done, and then I am afraid of what they will say.

  1. Writing is one of those funny things: We do it for ourselves, but we want other people to like it.

I have the same debates that you have. Lets make it a goal to start some writing projects this summer. And we’ll try not to worry what others think . . .

    • Okay, let’s do that. I have 29 pages done and I feel like I am grinding my wheels because they are not up to the standard I want them to be. We can write books together!
